Arcadia is a great home base for your Northern Michigan kayaking adventure. Stay in Arcadia and enjoy the local adventure of varied waterways any time of year. Add additional days to your stay and venture out to numerous regional lakes and rivers.

In 2013 Arcadia Township installed a universally accessible kayak launch at the Grebe Park fishing pier on First Street. The launch will allow kayakers of all abilities access to inland lake kayaking on Arcadia Lake, big lake adventures on Lake Michigan, and channel access to the Arcadia Marsh Preserve. The shoreline of Arcadia on Lake Michigan also offers a unique opportunity to view shipwrecks from your kayak.
