Trails in Manistee County

Non-Motorized Park

Part of Manistee County’s Trail System

Manistee Non-Motorized Trails Park is a City of Manistee Park being developed through the collaboration of the City of Manistee Non-Motorized Transportation Committee and the Shoreline Cycling Club.  There are currently about 3.8 miles of trail which are clearly marked and groomed for classic and skate skiing. The terrain is flat and curvy. During the winter months, the groomed trails are maintained for cross country skiing (please, no hiking, snowshoeing, or dogs). A short section has been set aside for snowshoeing and dogs (please have on leash), which heads north out of the parking lot and curves west.

Visit: www.SkiManistee.org for maps & trail conditions.

They have future plans to improve the driveway and parking area, permanent signage and new trails.  Please feel free to contact them or donate if you would like to help. The Cycling Club is a registered non-profit organization and all work done at the park is volunteer/donation based.

MTB TERRAIN PARK

Here you will also find 5.4 miles of groomed fat bike trail. For those interested in refining their skills on their MTB or FAT tire bike, you will find it on the skills area.  There is a variety of boards, trails and obstacles that is great for the beginner/intermediate biker.
