It’s an up and coming winter sport and Manistee County is one of the first to embrace your need to get out on the winter trails. Big-M Recreation Area has a dedicated Fat Biking loop for all seasons. If that isn’t cool enough, our neighbor to the north, Crystal Mountain, also has a dedicated MTB and Fat Bike course. In addition, there is the Non-Motorized Transit Park just outside Manistee as well. If you are an adventure seeker, we recommend checking out the frozen shoreline along Lake Michigan. Here the terrain can be rough and tricky, so we recommend it only for the veteran bikers.
