EVENT DESCRIPTION/DETAILS:

Since 1973 this "Two Lake Town" has been entertaining its residents, both year-round and seasonally as well as thousands of guests from the surrounding area with the Annual Onekama Days Celebration! Always on the First full weekend of August, Onekama welcomes you with a series of activities including: Art Exhibits, Dancing, Live Music, Bake Sales, Arts and Crafts, Dinners, Activities for Kids, Exceptional Fireworks over Portage Lake and the Grand Parade!

7:30am  5K & 1K Race Day Registration.  Village Park 8:45am - 1 Mile Run Run

9:00am  5K Run & Walk (Pre-register at 231.690.2147 Proceeds benefit Onekama Athletic Boosters)

7:00am - Noon  Fresh Hot Doughnuts and Coffee at the Village Park (Presented by Trinity Lutheran Church)

8am-10am  Portage Lake Watershed Display at Village Park

8am-11am  Breakfast - All You Can Eat (Presented by Onekama Lions Club)

8am-11am  Children's Vision Screening

8am-2pm  Community Yard Sale (Community Wide)

8:30am  Warren Vaughn Doubles Tennis Tournament (Onekama School Tennis Courts)

9am-1pm  St. Joseph's Youth Group Bake Sale (St. Joseph Church)

9am-2pm  Trinkets and Treasures Sale (Next to Library/Farr Center Sponsored by Portage Lake Garden Club)

10am-Noon  Congregational Church Bake Sale (at the church)

10am-2pm  Fire Department Open House at the Township Hall

9am-3pm  Classic Car Show in the Village Park

9am-1pm  Trinity Lutheran Bake Sale & Farm Products (at the church)

10am-7pm  Arts and Crafts

11am-1pm  Trinity Lutheran Salad Bar Luncheon (at the church)
