Magoon Creek Natural Area

Great for the outdoor enthusiast. Magoon Creek is a large natural recreation area with hiking and biking trails. Magoon Creek is a great spot for an afternoon picnic with beaches they are generally fairly quiet. The park offers many picnic tables and covered pavilions nestled high atop a 150’+ bluff, the view is spectacular. You can see the dunes to the south and Manistee North Pier Lighthouse to the North.
Reminder: Magoon Creek Park closes shortly after sunset. No overnight camping or parking. Trails are open year-round but the main gate that allows for drivable access is closed November 14-May 1.
