North Channel Brewery is an ode to the fascinating history of Manistee. We have 12 rotating taps – Texas style Bar-B-Que – Live music and events. We’re open 11am to 11pm, 7 days a week.

“From the owner’s vision of a brewery in Manistee to its fruition and beyond, NCB has always kept the history of Manistee and the shipping industry in mind,” explains Carl Eskridge, NCB manager.  “From the propeller and ship logos, to our channel and bridge-side location, NCB exemplifies our dedication to the local community and beautiful surroundings Manistee has to offer.”

Since opening in late 2017, the beer has been very popular for all who have sampled. Bill Joslyn, the NCB brewer says, “Beer is nothing if not tradition and we want to present our beer that way, true to the craft itself. Traditional styles and traditional ingredients, you can taste it. This is honest beer. Honest!”
